Ordered by a passionate fisherman, there was no question his shirt had to display something relating to this topic. As I myself am not very familiar with fishing, I studied some pictures and fisherman in real life at the lake near my home.

I sketched different variations of the theme fishing, including fish itself, the gear you need and people fishing in the sea, on the lake and in rivers. My favourite motif was a man standing in the lake with his fishing rod, which I made various drawings of.

My final choice displays this man in short trousers, his fishing rod reaching the end of the shirt. De sketch was printed in black on a short sleeve shirt in blue, reminding of the colour of water.
